Hey guys, today’s post I wanted to feature something new I’m finding in cinema marketing: That is the motion poster. It began with Terminator Salvation, with a simple animated poster but has progressed to actors actively doing extra footage for the posters. Here’s the link to The Other Guys’ motion poster, one that clearly indicates it’s obviously going to be an action comedy.

Two days ago (or so I think) the people behind Buried released their own motion poster, one that I think grabs a lot more people than the normal poster.

It’s becoming a trend in Hollywood and I don’t mind it, although like with many viral adverts, I wish the sound was muted until I chose to look at it.
